Meet Our Sweet Calves
Our baby calves are some of the most adorable members of the Rooterville family. Each one has a special personality and loves connecting with visitors:

Chase – Jett’s first baby! Playful, curious, and oh-so-sweet. He’s learning just how much he enjoys being petted and having his neck scratched. He especially loves spending time with his best friend, Zoey.

Zoey – The next littlest one, a beautiful all-red calf. She can be a little shy since she’s still new, but with patience she’ll happily lean in for scratches, pets, and her favorite treat—bananas!
🐮 Penny and Phoebe - These clumsy little ladies are going to be a year old next January! They are still babies though and you can be as hands-on with them as you like. They are super snugglers and they enjoy interacting with kids too. They can be clutzes though, so wear closed toe shoes or boots!

Warm Welcome & Orientation – Our staff, usually Penny our awesome volunteer, will greet you, share tips on safe and respectful cuddling, and introduce you to the calves.
Gentle Encounters – Sit comfortably in their play area while the babies approach at their own pace. Pet, brush, and soak in their sweet energy.
Playful Moments – Watch them interact with each other, nuzzle guests, or flop down for scratches. The babies are great cuddlers!
Photo Opportunities – Our team is happy to capture your cuddle memories so you can just enjoy the moment.

The well-being of both our baby cows and our guests is paramount. We kindly ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
- Supervised Interaction: All cute cow encounters are closely supervised by Rooterville staff to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone.
- Calm and Quiet: The calves love brushing and scratches, especially their neck and chins. Soft voices and a calm demeanor will make them feel comfortable. Running, loud noises, or sudden movements can startle the calves.
- Age Requirements: Children of all ages are welcome, but those under [Age 6] must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult at all times within the calf area. Kids must be well behaved.
- Outside Food: You are welcome to bring things like baby carrots, bananas or fruit but treating the cows will take place after your cuddle session. Treating them during will result in chaos as they all try to get the most snacks from you!
- Tips are Welcome and Encouraged! If you had a great time, there's nothing like a tip to make your host feel appreciated.
